St. Ann’s Religious Education Program for children and youth supports parents in their role as the first and most effective teachers of their children. Our focus is on forming faith, not just teaching religion and it encompasses Sacramental Preparation and Faith Formation for children and youth.
If you are interested in assisting with the Religious Education program as a teacher, teachers aid, or even as a substitute instructor, please express your interest to Cindy Hargarten, Religious Education Director.
Religious Education classes for school age children, grades 1-8 meet in the church at 8:45 A.M. until 9:45 A.M.
All classes will be taught by a group of very dedicated and faith-filled volunteer catechists.
For your convenience, the 2018-2019 Registration Form with Calendar can be found here.
Diocesan policy mandates that all staff and volunteers who have substantial contact with children must pass a criminal background check and attend a VIRTUS training session within 60 days of classes starting.
Please call the location of the training session to verify the date and time and to register. Each participant needs a workbook to participate.
The latest dates are always available on the Diocesan Website. We will be holding this training here in our parish in the very near future. Watch this space and the bulletin for more information as soon as a date has been scheduled.
